Mini Book - Unpacking Lies
Mini Book - Unpacking Lies
True or false: When you think about liars, you mentally point fingers at other people, like bigwigs in the news, or every character on “How to Get Away With Murder.” (I’ll admit it - true.)
This mini-book—the first in a series of low-tech, hand-written Little Life Guides—explores the self-deception that keep us small and seemingly safe. In honest and playful language, it offers a counter-intuitive strategy for shifting out of people-pleasing mode and stepping into a life that is in alignment with your values (saving you therapy costs in the process.)
This is one in a series of mini-books or “zines”, written by Pam Consear and edited by her daughter, Elena Consear Ramos. (Pam is the founder of All Hands Art, which you can read about here.)
You’ll notice the books are penned by hand and reproduced at a local copy shop. Why so low-tech? Because we have things to say, and we’re too impatient to wait for a publisher’s approval, that’s why. And we’ve found that people actually read things that come in bite-sized packages.
If you like our mini-books, please share them with your friends. Then consider writing your own. Remember: You’re the boss of your story. ;)
