"Work With Your Hands" original mixed media hanging 7.5" x 10"
This small mixed media hanging features a felted work boot stitched onto a children’s dictionary page, stitched onto a blue jeans back pocket. A string of beads below the pocket spells out “work with your hands” with alphabet beads interspersed with colored beads and hardware bits. Anchoring the top of the piece is a stiffened paintbrush (you know when you forget to put the brush in water??) along the top edge of the fabric. Another collection of beads creates the string for hanging the piece on the wall.
Yeah, I had some fun with this one!
