Mini Book - Language
Do you often think about the words you say before you say them? Do you ever find yourself in a situation where you are offended by what someone has said, but don’t want to cause further “disruption” by pointing it out?
This is a small but meaty guide to help us all be a bit more careful and thoughtful about the words we say. It is for everyone who has ever been affected by someone else’s language, or who cares how their language affects others.
This mini-book or “zine” was written in full by Elena Consear Ramos; my mother, Pam Consear, was kind enough to include it in our mini-book series and add it to her website.
The book was penned by hand and copied/printed by Elena in her home. We continue to be low-tech because we have things to say, and don’t want to wait for a publisher’s approval! And people seem to read things in bite-sized packages.
