I had a card on the bulletin board of my old studio that read, “How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you were?” This is my offshoot of that question. The original acrylic painting, which measures 20” x 24”, is also embellished with oil pastel, colored pencil, and Sharpie.
While making it, I kind of nerded out on blending the colors until they became something else, pushing the boundaries, creating edges and contrasts, but with overall harmony. It’s kinda like my vision for the human race.
This reproduction is printed locally on matte paper, and is ready to hang in your choice of 8” x 10” frame. See what conversations it might prompt in your office or kitchen.
