The Ordinary, Not the Heroic
Beautiful One,
What the Earth and all Her creatures need most right now is healing. We’ve lost so much soul that we’ve fallen out of balance. How do we rebuild soul and regain our collective heal-th?
Not through heroics. We don’t need a savior, or more high-tech gizmos. The answers are not all “out there.” We can each participate in the healing act of soul-building, and in fact, in these chaotic times, all of our gifts are required.
We reclaim soul through small daily acts and rituals, by slowing down and noticing. With truth-telling and humility. By showing reverence for Nature and the body. Healing works its magic through art and beauty and connection. You’ll see this in the PICTURES below.
Today’s soulful guest photographers are my daughter Elena and my dear friend Patti. (Revisit the homework assignment here.) Enjoy their contributions!
May we all heal slowly and soulfully, through ordinary practices as well as accidental brushes with magic. And may our individual healing contribute to the heal-th of the world. 💚🌏💙
With love,
Pam
P.S. Have you heard about the Doodling Lunatics 🖍🌙 ? We gather once-per-lunar-cycle over Zoom to tangle/tango with the self-judgment that arises when we put pen (or pencil) to paper. It’s healing, and it’s also laid-back fun! If you’re sick of hearing yourself complain about being “uncreative”, that’s most likely a nudge from your Soul to join us. 😉 Mark your calendar for Friday, May 13th at 5:30 pm Pacific Time. More info is here.
P.P.S. Wanna win a prize?? 🎊🎁 Ok, so we’ve only got one more module of heART❤️SCHOOL to go. Have you been following along? Do you know what our acronym is spelling out? I’ll send two of my greeting cards — gifts to keep giving — to each of the first 5 people who email me the correct answer. (Honestly, I’m just curious whether anyone’s been paying attention.) 🤓🙋🏽♀️✏️ We’ll see!
