Develop your “seeing skills,” as well as your understanding of color and composition in this 3-week acrylic painting mini-course.
We’ll create still-life arrangements using our own shoes (which don’t wilt like flowers do!) and discover what they say about us, while we practice noticing and representing each crease and curve. (You can substitute other items if you prefer.)
As with everything else in life, painting takes practice but it can be learned. Each week I’ll lead a brief demo or exercise to get us started, then we’ll spend most of the time working on our projects. The classes are small (up to 5 students) so you’ll get as much individual attention as you’d like.
Together we’ll co-create a supportive environment where you’ll feel safe to come as you are and try new things.
No painting or art experience is necessary. You are qualified, and there’s no better time to start! 🤓🎨
