Slow, Close, and Hopeful

Greetings, Resilient Human!

It’s been a full year since the world came to a halt. For me, reality hit that Thursday last March when my flamenco teachers canceled not only our ongoing classes but also the spring show that was a month away. Here we are, fifty-two weeks of separation and creative workarounds later. So much loss, so many discoveries and lessons.

My life was already slow back then, but now I’m better acquainted with the finches and juncos, and with the squirrel that still clambers down the feeder from the roof, even though I’ve learned to add chili as a deterrent. We’ve all been prompted to pay more attention to the slice of Universe right under our noses. I hope that continues long after we start mingling freely again. May we maintain our appreciation for the wonders in our own backyards and neighborhoods. May we keep our pace slow enough to notice the magic that surrounds us.

Beauty is never far away. Here are a few things that have recently invited me to stop for a closer look.

Enjoy!

Spring is just around the corner, and bright mornings like today feel extra hopeful. May we keep finding joy whenever and wherever we remember to look for it.

With love,
Pam

P.S. If you could use some help locating hope and possibility — if you feel stuck or need a motivation boost — I have three ideas for you:

1) The next session of the Possibilities Lab is starting in early April. Registration is open right this minute and stays at the early-bird rate until next Saturday, March 20th. Then it goes to full price. Click here to find out more.

2) I’m also gearing up to offer Possibility Tutoring! This is one-on-one mentoring to help move you forward toward your more soul-full life. It’s like the Possibilities Lab only completely tailored to your specific situation and with the benefit of my full attention each week for four weeks. Look for more info about Possibility Tutoring soon, or contact me if you’re interested.

3) My book, Doodle Your Way Out of Stuckness, is a low-risk guide to help readers begin noticing and shifting some of the mental patterns that keep us stuck in our thinking and our habits. You can get all its whimsical swirliness and deep-but-humorous goodness here. The books are priced to share, so grab a few copies for your friends who are also on a soul-searching, creative journey.
